 Adding new pages
« Thread Started on Apr 12, 2006, 3:21pm »

Still working hard on my website adding new pages and improving on what I have already done...
Some of you had expressed an interest in my egg food recipe.. well it is quite an expense to try and buy it all at once...so I have went one step further. Check this out:

http://www.affaviary.com/Eggfoodkitinstuctions.html

and I have put the babies page back up.. and the newest linnie is there... ::)

http://www.affaviary.com/available4.html

Hopefully I will have some comments about the egg food soon.
Egg food is not just for breeding birds it is full of nutritional ingredients, vitamins and Avi-culture probotics. I give it daily as a treat, to all my birds. males females and babies.

I gotta tell you all that I got some of Denise's egg food and ALL of my guys love it. I've never used it before and so was curious and it's their new favorite thing. I only limit each bird about a spoonfull of the mix each day and it's the first thing they go for.
Thanks, Denise, for making that available. (and thanx from Dargo, Inca and Beaker).

I just tried this egg food too, made it last night and served it this morning. It is REALLY easy to prepare, and makes a TON! Two of my birds went right for it this morning and gobbled it up. the other two are still thinking about it.... ;D....they tend to be more cautious. But I know they are going to love it once they dare to try it! Its great stuff...Im SO glad you brought this product to our attention Denise! thank you! 8-)

Don't feel like a doodle head...LOL there are so many products out there it is imposable to know them all...
Rusk is made from wheat flour...it is made for absorption of liquids. and to retain moisture....I use it so that I am sure the vitamins and other supplements are absorbed and distributed evenly throughout the egg mixture... that way there is very little waste and I know the birds are getting there vitamins....
Hope this helps...

Tee hee -- you should see the birds after they've had the egg food with the vitamin E! Let's just say that after that I got me some eggies. LOL. There were lots of perches just a rockin' with that stuff. :D As far as my birds eating this stuff? Well, I gave each cage a tablespoon full (well a heaping one) and once they tasted it, it was goodbye eggfood! LOL. Then when I went back in to gather the bowls, I got that same look that ya'll saw in Cinder's picture when Judi gave her veggies. Boy were they mad that they didn't get more. ;D I think that my birdies would get fat if they were allowed to eat that all day long. Tee hee
